Retreat Reflection!

Retreat Reflection:

On Monday and Tuesday of Week 7, the year 8’s went to a Retreat. We participated in activities that made us gain teamwork & leadership skills. For example the Treasure hunt some of us used our prior knowledge and shared our ideas with the group to track down the next clue. During the game night, we as groups worked together to complete the activity that was given and came up with gameplans to win. In the matching leaves activity, I learnt that everything is different and to use my senses to track down where the leaves came from.

We are learning about the characters in the story. Who they are? , What they say?,  What they do? and what does this tell us about them!

Learning to Summarise a Text

We learnt to Summarise a text and to Summarise you need to analyze using these 5 finger questions.

• What Happened in the text
• Where did it happen
• Why did it happen? 
• How did it happen 

How I felt about the Testing

During this week Spx Nu'u have been tested in our Reading and Maths. Here are my thoughts...
